Stream donations for Slovenian creators

DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Slovenia for creators on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. You get a free donation page, alerts and overlays for OBS, and payouts in euro to your own bank account. Viewers tip with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay, no account needed.

All EU countries

A small country with viewers on every border

Slovenia is small, and a Slovene speaking stream has a loyal but compact audience. Many Slovenian streamers therefore mix languages, switch to English for part of the stream, or attract viewers from Croatia, Austria, Italy and Hungary next door. Your donation page needs to work for all of them.

That is why DonoLink keeps the payment part universal. Every viewer can tip with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, no matter which country their bank is in. Slovenia has used the euro since 2007, so your donations come in as euro and are paid out as euro to your Slovenian bank account. No conversion, no second exchange rate.

For you that means one clear balance in euro, and for your viewers a page that looks the same whether they watch from Ljubljana, Maribor, Graz or Trieste.

Payment methods for Slovenian donors

Cards and the two big phone wallets are always on. For Slovenia, Revolut Pay is switched on by default as the local extra, which suits viewers who already use Revolut for everyday payments or travel. It appears for donors once Stripe has activated it on your account, so you can offer it, but the timing is up to Stripe.

Since you work in euro, you can turn on other euro methods Stripe supports in your settings, up to six per page. Lots of Austrian viewers? EPS is an option. A strong Italian following? Satispay could be worth adding. PayPal is coming soon.

Your stream, your language

Write your alerts in Slovene, English or both: you decide the text, and the donor name and amount are filled in automatically. Text to speech reads messages aloud, and filters for swear words and links keep your stream clean.

Add alerts, a donation goal, recent donations and a leaderboard to OBS as browser sources. Linky, the DonoLink chat bot, can share your link in chat, which helps when half your viewers are new and do not know where to find it.

Fees and payouts

DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful donation. There is no subscription and no setup cost. Stripe charges its own processing costs separately on your account; those depend on the method, so check your Stripe dashboard. Donors can choose to cover the DonoLink fee.

Payouts run through Stripe Connect to your own bank account after a one time identity check. Refunds and disputes are handled by Stripe on your account.

How it compares

You might also look at Streamlabs or StreamElements tipping, a Ko-fi page or a plain PayPal.me link. Compare what they charge and which methods they offer on their own websites. DonoLink is built around euro payouts, wallets and Revolut Pay, and alerts that just work.

Donations can be income. Check the rules with FURS, the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, or ask an adviser.
