Donations for streamers in Luxembourg, multilingual and in euro

DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Luxembourg for creators on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. You create your donation page for free, bring alerts and overlays into OBS and have your donations paid out in euro to your bank account. Your viewers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

A small country with an international audience

If you stream from Luxembourg, your audience rarely comes from just one country. Your chat is full of Luxembourgish, French, German and English, and many viewers are in Belgium, France, Germany or somewhere else entirely. That is why your donation page has to work with payment methods people know everywhere, not just with one local solution.

That is exactly what DonoLink is built for. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay work for practically everyone, including viewers in neighbouring countries. Donors don't need a DonoLink account: they pick an amount, write a message and pay, and the alert appears on your stream.

More payment methods for your audience

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are active on every donation page and cover practically all viewers in Luxembourg, without them having to create an account.

Because your audience often comes from neighbouring countries, you can turn on other methods Stripe allows for euro in your settings, such as EPS or Przelewy24, up to a maximum of six per page. Only pick what your community really uses: fewer logos mean a faster checkout.

Euro, with no detours

Donations arrive in euro and are paid out in euro to your own bank account through Stripe Connect, with no conversion and no balance left sitting on a platform. DonoLink keeps 3.5% of every successful donation and nothing else: no subscription and no starting fee. Stripe charges its own processing costs separately on your account, and they vary by method.

If a donor chooses to cover the fee, you receive the full amount minus Stripe's costs. Chargebacks and disputes go through Stripe on your account. In your dashboard you see every donation with its gross amount, net amount and payment method.

Overlays and Linky for your stream

Besides your donation page, you get alerts with name, amount and message, with text to speech if you want it, a goal bar, recent donations, a leaderboard and Linky, our chat bot for Twitch and YouTube. Everything goes into OBS as a browser source in one click, no plugin needed. Your donation page can be shown in German or English, which suits a multilingual audience.

Other ways to collect donations

Streamlabs and StreamElements are well-known tools with lots of features, but donations there often go through PayPal. Ko-fi is handy for creators in general but isn't made for live alerts. A PayPal.me link is quick to set up, but it requires the donor to have a PayPal account and comes without overlays. PayPal is coming to DonoLink soon, but it isn't available yet. For the current fees of other providers, it's best to check their own websites.

Tax in Luxembourg

Donations from streams can be income. We don't offer tax advice: check with the Administration des contributions directes (ACD), Luxembourg's direct tax authority, or ask a tax adviser how to declare them in your situation. You can find an overview of your donations and payouts in your DonoLink dashboard at any time.
