DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Italy for anyone streaming on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. You create your donation page for free, connect the alerts to OBS and receive the money in euro straight to your bank account. Your viewers can donate by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and, once they are active, Satispay or Revolut Pay.
In Italy, plenty of viewers don't fancy opening a PayPal account or typing in their card details just to leave a couple of euros during a live stream. Many already pay with their phone: Apple Pay and Google Pay are everywhere, and Satispay has become an everyday app for coffee, pizza with friends and small online purchases. DonoLink can show exactly these methods on your page, so your viewers donate with two taps instead of filling in a form.
Donors don't need to create an account. They choose an amount, write a message and pay, and their name appears in the alert live on stream. If they want, they can also choose to cover the DonoLink fee, so you receive the full amount minus only Stripe's processing costs.
Satispay and Revolut Pay are switched on by default for Italian accounts. Local methods appear for your donors as soon as Stripe has enabled them on your account, usually after the identity check. That is why we say DonoLink can offer them, not that they are guaranteed from the first minute.
In your settings you can also add other methods Stripe allows for euro, up to a maximum of six per page. Our advice: keep the list short and only show what your audience really uses. A clean page converts better than one full of logos.
Donations arrive in euro and are paid into your bank account in euro through Stripe Connect. There are no hidden currency conversions and no balances stuck on a foreign platform. DonoLink keeps 3.5% of every successful donation and nothing else: no subscription fee, no activation costs. Stripe charges its own processing costs separately on your account, and they vary by payment method.
Any disputes or refunds go through Stripe on your account, as with any online payment. In your dashboard you see every donation with its amount, net amount and the method used.
The Italian community on Twitch and YouTube is big and closely tied to its language: gaming, Just Chatting, podcasts, music and sport. Your audience wants a page that speaks its language and payment methods it knows. You can set your donation page to Italian, and the alerts in OBS show name, amount and message, with text to speech if you turn it on.
Besides alerts you get a goal bar, a list of recent donations, a leaderboard of top donors and Linky, our chat bot that replies in chat on Twitch and YouTube. You connect everything to OBS in one click, without installing any plugins.
Streamlabs and StreamElements are well-known, complete tools, but their donation side is designed for an international audience and often runs through PayPal. Ko-fi is handy for creators in general but isn't designed for live alerts. A PayPal.me link works, but donors need PayPal and you get no alerts or overlays. DonoLink brings together a donation page, payment methods people use in Italy and live overlays in one place. PayPal is coming to DonoLink soon, but it isn't available yet.
We won't tell you the other platforms are expensive: compare their current terms on their own websites and choose what works best for your channel.
Donations received on stream can count as income. We don't give personal tax advice: check the guidance from the Agenzia delle Entrate, Italy's revenue agency, or ask an accountant how to declare them in your situation. Your dashboard keeps a history of donations and payouts, which is useful when it's time to do your accounts.
