DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Ireland for creators on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. You get a free donation page, on-screen alerts for OBS and payouts in euro straight to your own bank account. Irish viewers can tip you with Revolut Pay, a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, without creating an account.
If you stream from Ireland, you probably stream in English, which means your chat is a mix of people from Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast, plus viewers from the UK, the US and further away. Most donation tools were built with an American audience in mind and quietly assume everyone pays with PayPal. That works, but it is not how a lot of Irish people actually move money between friends any more.
Revolut is part of everyday life in Ireland: splitting a taxi, paying back a mate for concert tickets, chipping in for a birthday present. DonoLink lets you offer Revolut Pay on your donation page, so a viewer who already has the app can tip you in a couple of taps and confirm it in Revolut, without typing card numbers in the middle of your stream. Everyone else can use a Visa or Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
This page is written in English, and so is the DonoLink.eu dashboard you would use. Your Irish donors simply see the euro amounts and the payment methods they know.
Every DonoLink page supports cards and the two big phone wallets. For Ireland, Revolut Pay is switched on by default as the local option. Local methods appear for donors as soon as Stripe has activated them on your account, so you can offer them, but Stripe decides when they go live.
You can add up to six methods per donation page. If you want, you can enable extra methods that Stripe allows for euro accounts, for example MB WAY for a Portuguese friend group in your community. PayPal is not available yet; it is coming soon.
Ireland uses the euro, so donations are charged in euro and paid out in euro to your Irish bank account through Stripe Connect. There is no hidden conversion step between what your viewer pays and what lands on your balance. Viewers from the UK or the US can still donate by card; their own bank handles the exchange on their side.
DonoLink takes 3.5% of each successful donation and nothing else: no monthly plan, no setup fee. Stripe charges its own processing costs separately to your account, and those depend on the payment method and the card used. If a donor wants to, they can tick a box to cover the DonoLink fee so you receive the full amount. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks run through Stripe on your own account, so you keep full visibility.
A donation only feels special when it shows up on stream. DonoLink gives you browser sources for OBS: donation alerts with your own sound, image or video, a goal bar for that new mic or charity night, a leaderboard of top supporters and a recent donations ticker. Alerts can also react to follows, subs, raids and cheers from Twitch, Kick and YouTube.
Linky, the DonoLink chatbot, can post your donation link in chat and thank people, so you don't have to break the flow of a speedrun or a late night Just Chatting session to read out links. Setting it all up in OBS takes a few minutes with the guided installer.
Streamlabs and StreamElements are big all in one toolkits and many Irish streamers already use them for overlays. Their tipping pages are worth checking for which payment methods your Irish viewers actually get offered. Ko-fi is popular for memberships and small shops and pays out through PayPal or Stripe. A PayPal.me link is the simplest option, but it does not trigger on-screen alerts by itself.
DonoLink sits in between: a focused donation page with European payment methods like Revolut Pay, a flat 3.5% fee and overlays included. You can of course keep using another tool for your scene layout and use DonoLink just for donations.
Donations can count as income, especially once streaming becomes regular. Have a look at the guidance from Revenue, the Irish tax authority, at revenue.ie, or ask an accountant who knows creator income. DonoLink gives you a full list of your donations and payouts in the dashboard, which makes that conversation a lot easier.
