DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Austria for anyone streaming on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or TikTok LIVE. You set up your donation page for free, add the alerts to OBS and receive the money in euro in your own bank account. Your community donates by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or EPS, straight from their bank's online banking.
Not everyone in your chat has a credit card, and hardly anyone wants to open a PayPal account just to send a few euros. Many people in Austria know EPS bank transfers from online shopping: you choose your bank, land in your usual online banking, find the transfer already filled in and simply approve it. That is exactly what DonoLink can offer on your donation page, alongside card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Donors don't need an account with us. They pick an amount, write a message and pay, and moments later the alert plays on your stream. If they like, they can cover the DonoLink fee, so you receive the full amount minus Stripe's costs.
EPS is switched on by default for accounts in Austria. It appears for your donors once Stripe has activated it on your account, usually after the identity check. That is why we deliberately say DonoLink can offer EPS, not that it is guaranteed to work from the first minute.
In your settings you can turn on other methods Stripe allows for euro, such as Revolut Pay, up to a maximum of six per donation page. Our tip: only show what your viewers actually use. A tidy page brings in more donations than a wall of logos.
Donations arrive in euro and are paid out in euro to your bank account through Stripe Connect. No currency conversion, and no balance stuck on a platform somewhere. DonoLink keeps 3.5% of every successful donation and nothing else: no subscription, no setup fee. Stripe charges its own processing costs separately on your account, and they vary by payment method.
As with any online payment, chargebacks and disputes go through Stripe on your account. In your dashboard you see every donation with its amount, net amount and payment method.
The Austrian community is small but loyal: gaming, Just Chatting, music, podcasts, and many people watch both Austrian and German streams. For you, that means your viewers expect a German-language page and payment methods they know from Austria. You can set your donation page to German, and the alerts in OBS show name, amount and message, with text to speech if you want it.
On top of that you get a goal bar, recent donations, a leaderboard of top donors and Linky, our chat bot for Twitch and YouTube. Everything goes into OBS as a browser source in one click, no plugin needed.
Streamlabs and StreamElements are well-known all-in-one packages, but their donations often run largely through PayPal. Ko-fi suits creators in general but isn't built for live alerts. A PayPal.me link works, but donors then need PayPal and you get no alerts. With DonoLink you have your donation page, an Austrian payment method and overlays in one place. PayPal is coming to DonoLink soon, but it isn't available yet.
We deliberately don't compare other providers' fees here, because they change. Check the current terms directly with each provider.
Donations from your stream can be income. We don't give personal tax advice: check the information from the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) and FinanzOnline, or ask a tax adviser how to declare them in your situation. Your DonoLink dashboard gives you an overview of your donations and payouts.
