Twitch and YouTube donations in Slovakia, paid in euro

DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Slovakia for creators on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. Slovak viewers can donate with Revolut Pay, a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in euro, and you get paid out in euro to your own Slovak bank account. DonoLink takes 3.5% per successful donation, with no subscription.

A Slovak streamer with a Czech and Slovak audience

If you stream in Slovak, a good part of your chat is probably Czech. The two languages are close enough that viewers move freely between Slovak and Czech channels, and many communities grew up together. That creates one practical difference: your Slovak viewers pay in euro, while your Czech viewers have koruna in their bank account.

DonoLink handles both. Your donation page charges in euro, the currency of Slovakia, and Czech viewers can still donate by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; their bank converts from CZK on their side. Your payout stays in euro and goes straight to your Slovak bank account through Stripe Connect, without a conversion step for you.

This page is in English, as is the DonoLink.eu dashboard. Your donors don't need English: they see euro amounts and familiar payment buttons.

Payment methods for donors in Slovakia

Every DonoLink page supports cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. For Slovakia, Revolut Pay is switched on by default, which suits the many younger viewers who already keep a Revolut account for travel, online shopping or splitting costs with friends. Revolut Pay appears for donors once Stripe has activated it on your account, so you can offer it, but Stripe decides when it goes live.

Because your account is in euro, you can also turn on other euro methods that Stripe allows, up to six methods per donation page. PayPal is not available yet; it is coming soon.

What it costs and how you get paid

DonoLink takes 3.5% of each successful donation. No subscription, no setup fee. Stripe charges its own processing costs to your account separately, and they differ per method. A donor can choose to cover the DonoLink fee, so you receive the full amount they picked. Payouts go in euro to your own bank account in Slovakia. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are handled by Stripe on your account, so nothing happens behind your back.

Overlays that make donations visible

A donation feels best when the whole chat sees it. DonoLink gives you OBS browser sources for donation alerts with your own image, GIF, video, sound and text to speech, a goal bar for your next upgrade, a leaderboard and a recent donations list. Follows, subs, raids and cheers from Twitch, Kick and YouTube can trigger alerts as well. Linky, the DonoLink chatbot, can post your donation link in chat whenever someone asks how to support you.

Compared with Streamlabs, StreamElements, Ko-fi and PayPal.me

Streamlabs and StreamElements are big toolkits with tipping included; check which payment methods your Slovak viewers get there. Ko-fi works well for memberships and digital products and pays out through PayPal or Stripe. A PayPal.me link is easy but has no alerts on its own. DonoLink is focused on donations: Revolut Pay, euro payouts, a flat 3.5% fee and overlays in one place.

Donations and tax in Slovakia

Donations can be taxable income. See what Finančná správa, the Slovak Financial Administration, publishes on financnasprava.sk, or talk to a tax adviser. Your DonoLink dashboard keeps a list of all donations and payouts you can use for your records.
