Twitch donations in Czechia, in Czech koruna

DonoLink is a European donation platform for streamers, available in Czechia for creators on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok LIVE. Czech viewers donate with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in Czech koruna, and you receive payouts in CZK on your own Czech bank account. DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful donation and no subscription.

Why the currency matters most in Czechia

Czechia uses the koruna, not the euro. That sounds like a detail until you watch a viewer try to donate 100 korun on a page that only shows euro or dollars. They have to guess the amount, their bank adds a conversion, and you get another conversion on the way back. DonoLink skips all of that: Czech donors see and pay amounts in CZK, and your payout lands in CZK on your Czech bank account through Stripe Connect.

For a streamer that means the number your viewer picks is the number you see on your dashboard, minus fees, without exchange rate surprises at the end of the month.

How Czech viewers pay

In Czechia, DonoLink keeps payment simple: cards and phone wallets. Czech donors already pay by card, contactless phone or online wallet in shops and online every day, so Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay cover the way most of your viewers already pay online. There are no extra local methods for Czech koruna in DonoLink right now, which also means a cleaner donation page with fewer choices.

Apple Pay and Google Pay are especially handy during a stream: the viewer confirms with a fingerprint or face scan on their phone, and the alert can show up on your stream a few seconds later. PayPal is not available yet; it is coming soon.

Czech and Slovak chats, one donation page

The Czech streaming scene is closely tied to Slovakia. The languages are so close that Czech and Slovak viewers happily watch each other's streams, and many chats are a natural mix of both. Slovak viewers pay in euro at home, but on your DonoLink page they donate in CZK by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; their bank handles the conversion on their side. The same goes for viewers in Germany, Poland or anywhere else.

This page is in English, like the DonoLink.eu dashboard you'll use. Your donors don't need English: they see amounts in koruna and the familiar card and wallet buttons.

Fees and payouts

DonoLink takes 3.5% of every successful donation. There is no subscription or setup fee. Stripe charges its own processing costs to your account separately, and they depend on the card and wallet used. A donor can tick a box to cover the DonoLink fee, so you receive the full amount. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are handled by Stripe on your own account, and every donation and payout is visible in your dashboard.

Alerts and overlays for OBS

Whether you stream Counter Strike, Minecraft, IRL or Just Chatting in Czech, DonoLink gives you browser sources for OBS: donation alerts with your own image, video, sound and text to speech, a goal bar, a top supporter leaderboard and a recent donations list. Follows, subs, raids and cheers from Twitch, Kick and YouTube can trigger alerts too. Linky, the DonoLink chatbot, can post your donation link in chat.

DonoLink compared with other options

Streamlabs and StreamElements are well known all in one tools with tipping; check in which currency Czech viewers are charged there. Ko-fi is good for memberships and small shops and pays out through PayPal or Stripe. A PayPal.me link is easy to share, but it doesn't show anything on stream. DonoLink focuses on donations in CZK with a flat 3.5% fee and overlays included.

Donations and tax in Czechia

Donations can be taxable income in Czechia. Check the information from Finanční správa, the Czech Financial Administration, on financnisprava.gov.cz, or ask a tax adviser. Your DonoLink dashboard lists all donations and payouts for your records.
